Siurana is a small village surrounded by cliffs belonging to the natural park of Montsant. To talk about Siurana is to talk about the mecca of sport climbing. Within its nearly endless walls, kilometers and kilometers of perfect limestone, there are some of the most iconic routes that marked different eras. Thanks to the tireless route developers, who began bolting climbs more than 30 years ago, there are more than 1,500 sport climbing routes in the area today. This concentration, together with the spectacular scenery that surrounds it, the quick access, and the international atmosphere, make Siurana a bucket-list destination for all climbing lovers.

The festival will take place in Cornudella de Montsant, a village located 5 minutes away from Siurana and the different climbing areas.

Cornudella can be reached both by car and public transport. We recommend coming in a group to avoid overloading the area with cars. If you do not have someone to go with you, you can contact us at info@siuranaclimbingfestival.com and we will put you in contact with other groups.
In addition to the parking areas of Cornudella, a new exclusive parking area has been set up for the festival on the Cornudella soccer field: https://goo.gl/maps/XZ4kkoh1wXKmDECe6. No reservation is required and you will be able to park until the available spaces are used up.

The town of Cornudella has a wide variety of gastronomic offeringss where you can go to eat. Here you will find the list of the different local restaurants, bars, and cafes.

The Siurana Climbing Festival is open to the community. All of the clinics and activities of the festival are free and open to all those who want to enjoy a weekend in celebration of climbing. Space is limited in certain clinics, so be sure to register ahead of time to save your spot.



 
Visit the individual clinic webpage to register. It is important to book only if you are sure you will attend the clinics, as spaces are limited. If you sign up for a clinic but are not able to attend, please contact the organization via info@siuranaclimbingfestival.com. Only one registration per day will be allowed. The talks with guests and screenings are free of charge and without registration.

CLINICS

The clinics will be spread out among different climbing sectors, mainly between the sectors of El Pati, l’Olla, Siuranella and Esparó Primavera and the areas closest to the village of Siurana.

FESTIVAL AREA

The festival headquarters is located in the Parc Nou del Portal (ex Parc Infantil), in the center of the village of Cornudella del Montsant, approximately 400 meters from the camping area and the soccer field parking.
This area will serve as a “meeting point” for the participants of the festival and will provide detailed information about the clinics and the organization of the various activities. The booths of the organization and the collaborating brands (gear demos) will also be located in this area.

SCREENINGS

The film screenings will be held at the Teatre of La Renaixença located on the main avenue. Admission will be free and without prior reservation.

LIVE MUSIC

The night concerts and DJ will be located in the Parc Nou del Portal (ex Parc Infantil).
